Noelle Nitz, President of Nitz Consulting, has over 16 years experience providing financial expertise to small and middle market companies. Established in 1999, Nitz Consulting has served a diverse base of Orange County companies and business owners. Ms. Nitz uses her vast experience to help family owned and closely held companies make profitable business decisions and enjoy professional satisfaction.

Client Achievements:

  • Sales and Distribution Company. Helped this family business create a fair and equitable business structure satisfactory to all partners. Identified opportunities for significantly increasing profit margins.
  • Retail: Athletic Shoe Retailer. Created a plan to eliminate $300K in excess inventory and execute a more profitable merchandising plan.
  • Staffing Company. Helped the company acquire growth capital and created a new structure to significantly improve sales and gross profit margins.
  • Restaurant Purchase. Assisted the buyer during the due diligence phase, including valuation of the franchise, structure and deal negotiation, which resulted in a 40% savings in the purchase price for the buyer.
  • Portrait Studio. Produced the formal business plan to raise growth capital for the company. Successfully presented for needed funds.

Business Acumen:
With over 16 years of business experience Mrs. Nitz background also includes a successful career in banking. As Vice President with the commercial lending division at Barclays Business Credit (Now owned by Bank of America), she successfully developed a portfolio valued at more than $150 million.
During her tenure at Barclays, Mrs. Nitz helped several middle-market companies acquire financing needs for the following initiatives: aggressive growth strategies, mergers, rollups, and turnaround strategies, including bankruptcy. Mrs. Nitz was responsible for detailed financial analysis, structuring and negotiating deals, and client management.
Several of Mrs. Nitz’s key strengths include her unique ability for deeply understanding each company’s critical success factors, risks, capital structures, and legal issues. Using her financial and business acumen, she possesses the ability to develop extensive forecasting analyses that help client’s understand exactly what they must do to achieve desired results.

While employed at Barclays, Mrs. Nitz’s highlights include:

  • Restoration Hardware. Provided capital to help Restoration grow from ten to seventy stores, and the acquisition of a supplier.
  • Building Materials Supplier. Provided successful turnaround and bankruptcy financing.
  • Commercial Floor Care and Service Company. Provided a lending facility allowing the company to roll up a series of other commercial floor care companies.
  • Kitchen Gadget Distributor. Provided working capital and turnaround financing.

Mrs. Nitz won multiple performance awards and is published in “Secured Lender”, a magazine. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate and Law from Cal Poly, Pomona and passed the CPA exam in 1996.
